Hunza Valley Escape

Transfer to your departure airport for the early morning flight to Skardu. On arrival, drive straight to the serene Upper Kachura Lake for a short visit, then head to the famous Shangrila Resort for lunch before the drive north to Hunza. Arrive and check in to your hotel by evening.

A full day in Hunza's most iconic sites. Morning tour of the 700-year-old Baltit Fort, then on to Altit Fort and its Royal Gardens. After lunch at Kha Basi, explore the 400-year-old house in Altit village. Late afternoon drive up to Eagles Nest for sunset over Rakaposhi, then an evening stroll through Cafe De Hunza and Baltit Market.

An epic day starting with a drive to Khunjerab Pass (4,693m) on the China border. Return to Passu for lunch at Yak Grill and apricot cake at Glacier Breeze, then hike to the Baskochi Meadows (Ainabad) for aerial views over Attabad Lake at sunset. Descend to Attabad for dinner and overnight at the lake.

Morning boat ride on the turquoise Attabad Lake, then hike to the snout of Passu Glacier. Stop at Borith Lake and a second visit to Glacier Breeze for lunch, then cross the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Drive south to Shigar, pausing at the Rakaposhi Viewpoint and the Collision Point of Tectonic Plates on the Old Silk Route before checking in to your hotel.

After breakfast at Shigar, visit the beautifully restored Shigar Fort, then head to the Shigar Desert for optional activities. Drive to Skardu Airport for the afternoon flight back to Islamabad. Drop-off at hotel or given location by evening.
