Shahjhan Mosque

Shahjhan Mosque is a 17th century marvel of Mughal Era, features symmetrical patterns all along its arch shaped corridors with patterns of perfectly aligned white lines against rustic brick stone walls. Central Dome is adorned with typical turquoise glazed tiles aligning in arches to form the central circular/36 cornered ceiling. Its picturesque corridors run in symmetry, with a central courtyard, its Facade is again glazed tiles against rustic brick works. Shahjhan Mosque used to a central administrative place to run religious and state affairs in Mughal era.Read more
