Mughal Era Royal Spa
Shahi Hammam was also built by Wazir Khan around 1635 and its the only counterpart of Turkish / Iranian / Central Asian tradition of public hot baths. Originally a caravanserai was also built beside Shahi Hammam to facilitate travellers visiting the walled city of Lahore. The Hammam is a single storey building and its a collection of 21 inter-connected rooms offering all the facilities like hot, warm, cool plunges, and sweat rooms. Its the only monumental public bath in the Sub-continent from that period which still survives.
