A project based learning school’s trip to Old City of Lahore, Traverse engages on all levels to highlight historical significance of Pakistan
Fakir Khana Museum:
The next adventure awaited them as they hopped onto colorful rickshaws, weaving through narrow streets, absorbing the sights, sounds, and scents of the bustling bazaars. The rickshaw ride, filled with laughter and wide-eyed wonder, transported the children to Fakir Khana Museum, a hidden gem brimming with artifacts, antiques, and relics from Lahore’s storied past. The young scholars, wide-eyed and curious, discovered a treasure trove of history within the museum’s walls.
As the day unfolded, the final chapter of their expedition unfolded at Pak Tea House, a timeless establishment that has witnessed the ebb and flow of Lahore’s social and intellectual history. Seated in the midst of the city’s literati, the children were treated to a brief historical timeline, connecting the dots between the places they had visited and the broader narrative of Lahore’s evolution.
Traverse Pakistan had successfully orchestrated a seamless blend of education and adventure, providing these young minds with an immersive experience that transcended the confines of textbooks. As the kids bid farewell to Lahore’s walled city, their hearts and minds brimmed with newfound knowledge and a deep appreciation for the cultural tapestry that defines this historic city.
To sum up the whole experience visually our team also curated a reel to provide a visual glimpse of this one of a kind experience for young minds. Here is the link to instagram reel.
